How Placid Auto Group handles personal information when you browse or order.
What we use
Your name, contact details, delivery address and order details: the information needed to run the store and get an order to you. Card details are handled by Stripe and never touch our servers.
Marketing is opt-in only
We only send marketing or follow-up email if you ticked the box at checkout, never pre-ticked. Every such email identifies us and carries a one-click unsubscribe, as the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) requires.
Messages you send through this website
If you use the enquiry form, we receive your name, email, phone (if given) and message so we can reply. We don’t use it for anything else.
Access and correction
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold, or ask us to correct it: admin@placidconnect.com. This policy operates alongside the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
